Elements and Performance Criteria
- Complete contracts
- Review contracts due to expire to determine future requirements, and canvass options meeting requirements.
- Implement strategies to manage closure, renewal of contracts, or transition to a new contract.
- Finalise, amend, cancel or terminate contracts according to arrangements.
- Consult with contractor, and report completion, addressing contractor and contract manager performance.
- Implement contract review strategy
- Determine timing of contract review to ensure a smooth transition to post contract arrangements.
- Review and monitor contract including contract management, contractor performance, user satisfaction and audit results.
- Document variances where measures or outcomes are not met in full.
- Prepare review report documenting outcomes against plans, final costs, user satisfaction, lessons learnt and any shortcomings in contract planning, management policies and procedures.
- Suggest recommendations for improvement and support them with evidence.
